James "Jim" Bilinski P.E. Teacher

Welcome to THS P.E.

Hi,

I am "Jim the Gym Teacher". I began my teaching career in Orange in1995. Teaching is a second career for me. Before teaching in Orange in the school system I taught adults as a Physical Fitness Specialist. I received my B.S. in Human Performance at SCSU and worked in the fitness industry for 6 years. I returned to SCSU and earned my teaching certificate and immediately began teaching in Orange in 1995. I have since earned my Masters degree in Health Education and 6th Year degree in Education Classroom Specialist.

I have been married to my wonderful wife Anita since 2006 and we welcomed our dynamic daughter Anna to our family January 31, 2012!!! We call Middlebury, CT our home.

I have a tremendous passion for teaching children and have been living a dream since joining the Orange Education system in 1995!!

My philosophy centers on learning through fun and movement with positive experience being the primary focus.

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, exercise and woodworking.

I look forward to another fun and exciting year at THS!!!!
