**** Every Friday is Spirit Day at Race Brook School and students are encouraged to wear our colors (red, black, and white) to show school spirit!

Throughout the school year, please read daily notices in your child's RED "Take Home Folder" and determine which items stay at home or come back to school.

Please check and sign your child's Student Planner (assignment book) every school night.

BAND LESSONS: 

*Students Playing Instruments This Year: Check emails and/or your teacher's Google Classroom for orchestra or band homework :-)

 

 BOOKS ARE GOLD!!!!!!

 

Enjoy reading a "Battle Book" or a high interest fiction or nonfiction book silently for at least 20 minutes each school night!

*Face masks are optional in school.

 

*REMEMBER TO BRING YOUR OWN EAR BUDS OR HEADSET TO SCHOOL, AS WELL AS A SILENT READING BOOK, SNACK & WATER BOTTLE EACH DAY. MAKE SURE YOUR WATER BOTTLE HAS A SPILL PROOF NOZZLE OR CAP.

REMINDERS FOR THE WEEK:

*BRING YOUR OWN EAR BUDS OR HEADSET TO SCHOOL, AS WELL AS A SILENT READING BOOK, SNACK & WATER BOTTLE EACH DAY. MAKE SURE YOUR WATER BOTTLE HAS A SPILL PROOF NOZZLE OR CAP.

Mon., April 20, 2026

1. Silent Reading- Read a fiction book for at least 20 minutes and fill in your Reading Log. Hand in your Reading Log to Ms. Anton every Friday. 

2. Math- Do the TangMath review practice with the 1 Digit by 3 Digit Multiplication Area Model

OPTIONAL: Practice math skills for 10 minutes on iReady, MyPath in the ClassLink portal on oess.org.

Tue., April 21, 2026

1. BATTLE BOOK Silent Reading- Read a BATTLE BOOK for at least 20 minutes and fill in your Reading Log. Hand in your Reading Log to Ms. Anton every Friday. 

2. Math- Do the TangMath review practice with the 2 Digit by 2 Digit Multiplication Area Model
