Accelerated Reader

Accelerated Reader is a program that helps encourage, manage and monitor independent reading practice. Students choose "just right for me" independent reading books in their "zone" and then earn points through quizzes on these books.

Parents are able to monitor their child's progress through Home Connect. Once on Home Connect, they can sign up for e-mail alerts (look in the upper right hand corner of the Home Connect page) that will notify them every time their child takes a quiz. Also provided below is a link to AR Book Finder. This website will help you find the reading level (or book level, BL) of a book found outside our library, including books at the Case Memorial Library, Barnes and Noble, Amazon or anywhere else.

Please note that students can only take AR book quizzes in school, not at home.
