Green Cleaning Program

The successful implementation of a green cleaning program requires the support and cooperation of everyone -- custodians, teachers, administrators, students, and parents. Ultimately, green cleaning will result in improved health for our students and staff, and even for the visitors in our schools. Green cleaning reduces everyone's exposure to toxic chemicals and to the asthma-triggers that are often found in cleaning products, such as bleach, phenols, and ammonia. These chemicals are often found in over-the-counter general purpose cleaners, as well, which is why we ask everyone to please avoid bringing these products from home.
