The Orange Public Schools had some good news as the First LEGO League results were announced. One of Peck Place’s two teams, Peck Place #2, familiarly named the ‘Hot Dogs Unlimited,’ made it to State-wide competition. The team is coached by Scott Lowder. At the first level of competition, on December 1, 2012, in Wolcott, the team won ‘Best Presentation’ and a Golden Ticket to the State Championship at CCSU which was held on December 8th. There they placed 18th out of the 48 state-level teams.
