Dear Turkey Hill School Families,                                                                               

I want to officially welcome all of you to the 2022-2023 school year!  I hope that everyone has had a wonderful summer filled with adventure, learning, and growing.  The staff at Turkey Hill is very excited to have our students back in our classrooms and hallways filling them with enthusiasm and energy for learning. We have been very busy at Turkey Hill School this summer preparing for a great opening of school. 

I am privileged to return this school year as your principal and I feel honored to work with our highly qualified and dedicated staff, our wonderful students, and all our supportive parents. The elementary years are critical times of development for students and families and I look forward in working with all of you to make this school year successful. 

We are fortunate to have an incredibly active PTO that works tirelessly alongside our faculty and staff to provide our students with such rich academic, cultural, and artistic experiences.  This partnership speaks volumes to who we are as a community.  Over the past few years, I have found this close working relationship and focus upon what is best for children to not only exist, but also thrive at Turkey Hill.  I invite you to become an active participant in our school community through volunteering, joining our PTO or attending and supporting school events. 

At Turkey Hill we truly believe that communication is the key to a successful educational experience.  I’d like to invite you to visit our school’s website. Our website www.oess.org contains links to teacher web pages, calendars, and information about upcoming events.  Our weekly e-blasts, which are part of PowerSchool, will provide you with weather-related closing information, weekly updates from me, information on PTO happenings, and help you stay up to date on our upcoming events. We will continue using the Virtual Backpack, where notices can be viewed online and downloaded.
